You will forever be in my heart!!! I have such wonderful memories as a child. You were always there for us and loved us unconditionally!! Even when you washed my mouth out with soap you always made sure to tell me how much you loved me.  You are at peace now and that brings me comfort. Now I have you and grandpa looking out for me. Love you!

I wish I could have watched from this side of heaven -- when you
walked across that great divide to the Land where we will never
grow old.  You see I happen to believe that when we step across,
we are changed in that instant to our heavenly body that does not age or hurt, and is Perfect! I know there was a huge welcome for you.  First from Jesus Himself -- and from countless family and friends --
but in front of them all, was John Charles Brister.  I also believe that
God heard you call his name a few days ago, and honored your request that you needed him "right now"! Not far behind him would be "Ida Sue", my sweet Momma.  You told me several times when I last
saw you that the two of you were "just like that" as you held up two fingers, side by side! Lots of "Precious Memories" of my entire life include you.
Now I have one request of you -- "leave the light on" -- because we will all be home before long!

Oh my, a lot of time has gone by, a lot of memories have happened. I find comfort in knowing that you are with our other family members, who have passed on to be with the Lord. I can just imagine the family reunion you all are having! I love you.

Sorry for your loss. I only knew Joyce by chance encounters at Elk Crossing. My Mom lives there and she lived a few doors down. Nice lady.

Aunt Joyce is part of my earliest and fondest memories on earth.  She loved well, and was well-loved by, her family and friends.  She was in perpetual motion doing all the things required to care for a family from the 1940's onward.  That was a a great deal, but she never whined or complained - though she must have been exhausted at times.  She has been a major role model for me throughout life - I love her and am anxious for the day we'll be with her and all of our family in Heaven.

Aunt Babe was simply the best auntie ever; I think she was the best friend, best wife, best everything but most of all the best mom and grandmother.  I know you girls miss her dearly and take comfort that she is in the Light of the Savior along with so many that we love that have gone before her.  I love you all.
