You finally made it home. God bless you. What a precious little lady. I met Mrs. McClure at MTNC. She had such a sweet smile. I enjoyed reading about her life. Prayers for the family during this time for peace and comfort.

Marie has and always will have a very special place in my heart because she was that person that prayed with me when I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior as an eight year old at Vacation Bible School there in Apache.  That decision has been and always will be the bedrock for every decision therafter in my life.  I am forever grateful Marie did not doubt the sincerity of an eight year old child and did not pass up the opportunity to lead me in the sinner's prayer.  It forever changed my life.

So sorry for the families loss and the church's loss of a fine example of discipleship.  I too was a product of Sis Marie's VBS lesson back in late 1950's.  She led me in the sinners prayer after her inspiring Bible story that she taught during the lesson that day.  I was just a child, and I am so thankful for the leadership she was faithful to present to those she had the pleasure of teaching young and old.  If my life impacts as many as she did in her life here on earth, I will feel like I have lived according to the example that she set before me and many others.  May God comfort each family member as only He can.  I love each of you.  Carla S Austin

My condolences to the family.  I pray God comforts you in this time of sorrow. I still remember Marie teaching a class on Paul the Apostle at youth camp.  She made it so interesting.  I know that her influence carries on in myself and others. My father Ray Ingram was her pastor many years ago.  My mother, Mae, speaks of her and Cecil.

I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers and thoughts have been with the family. The memorial service for Marie today was special; The music was beautiful and those who spoke truly shared who Marie was. Marie and Cecil McClure were good neighbors for a number of years and such good people. It was a pleasure knowing them. Now they are together with the Lord. God bless you.

Proverbs 16:9 states, "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." I believe that Aunt Marie planned her true course at a very early age, and then she simply trusted God to determine her steps throughout eternity. I'm so thankful for her Christian example and influence(and biggest smile on earth). God bless you, family--I love you

The world is a better place to have been blessed by such a beautiful and sweet lady! We enjoyed every moment we had with Marie! She always looked the same, beautiful and so pleasant! Also the same sweet smile and the best attitude about everything! We will always miss her but she is now where she needs to be, walking with Jesus on the streets of gold ! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, her wonderful family!

John & Marjorie Palesano had eleven children.  For the older group in this bunch, Aunt Marie was a second mother.  She was the one we or Mom would call when help was needed in any form, color or fashion.  She came to the rescue when it was time for a new baby to be born, when there was a question on how long to cook Divinity and to give a haircut when a brother smeared resin in his little sister's hair.
Her teaching in Sunday School, Bible School and Children's Church was absolutely the best.  She was beautiful inside & out and she loved people.  There will never be another Marie Palesano McClure, but her presence will continue through her family and all the lives she touched in her 94 years on earth.  "Thank you for giving to the Lord.  I am a life that was changed."
