Anne Jordan Obituary
Zora Anne Jordan was born November 29, 1936, in Boswell, Oklahoma to Richard and Susie Anna (Mann) Owen. She passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, in Duncan at the age of 82.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th, at 1:00 P.M. at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Rush Springs with Bro. Paul Phipps, pastor of Southern Baptist Church officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan.
Anne attended schools from elementary thru graduation in Boswell. She was married to Manuel D. Jordan. To this union two children - Lita and Dan - were born. She was employed as an Assistant to a Major at a government hospital. Anne was a member of the Library Club and the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included reading, traveling, sewing, and yard work.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Jordan; parents, Richard and Susie Owen; brother, William Owen; and sisters, Lillian Golden and Pauline Jenkins.
Anne's survivors include her children, Lita and husband Joe Thompson of Marlow and Dan and wife Elizabeth Jordan of Oregon; grandchildren, Kathlene Jordan, Dani Moore and Bryan McLain, Jennafer and Sasha Hitt, Zackary and Samantha Jordan, Logan and Audrey Jordan, Lauren and Tanner Paul, Merek Jordan, Ryker Jordan, and Clint and Stefanie Duesman; great grandchildren, Marlez Moore, ReJéan Moore, Madelyn Duesman, Sofia Duesman, Luke Duesman, Anthony Krimm, Avery Jordan, Colson Jordan, and Devin Jordan; and one great great grandchild, Genáe Moore.
