Brad Aaron Stapp passed away on Thursday, November 29, in Oklahoma City at the age of 38. He was born on October 28, 1980, to Gerald Ray and Linda Kay Willard Stapp in Oklahoma City.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 8, at 2:00 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Chambers officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Brad graduated from Comanche High School. He married Ericka Branham on September 18, 2005. He was employed as a cook at Country Club Care. He enjoyed car racing, especially sprint cars, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. He was also an avid sports fan, and especially loved watching his OU Sooners play football. He loved his cats, Ozzy and Ryker, as well as any other strays that would come up.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Brad is survived by his wife, Ericka; two brothers, Brian and wife Stacy Stapp of Montrose, Colorado, and Brent Stapp of Duncan; one sister, Carol and husband Billy Pewitt of Waurika; five nephews, Nathan Stapp of Duncan, Daemon and Nathan Stapp of Montrose, and Jason and Jared Stapp of Duncan; and one niece, Jalyn Stapp of Duncan.
