Charles Stephen Denton passed away on Monday, February 26th, at his home in Duncan at the age of 68. He was born on March 21, 1949, in Dallas, Oregon, to Charles Sterling Denton and Evelyn (Clark) Villa.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, at 1:00 P.M. at Freedom Biker Church with Rev. Billy Morgan officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Stephen attended Mount Clair, California schools. He married Irene Sombrero on June 10, 1967, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had two children, Tina and Stephanie. He was employed by Koch Oil Company as a Pipeline Inspector for 25 years. His favorite pastimes were fishing and going to Deer Camp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Denton and Evelyn Villa; and daughter, Stephanie Denton.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Irene; 1 daughter, Tina Harkins and John Blood; 5 grandchildren, Charles and Kamran Harkins, Ashley Seward, Harley Hornberger and fiancée Ciera Toner, Jerney Denton, and Chloe Denton; 4 great grandchildren, Kross Degan Harkins, Mia Keona Seward, Kyndi Beth Harkins, and Mason Lee Seward; 1 brother, Tim Denton; and 2 sisters, Linda Brite and Michelle McConnell.
