Was born March 24, 1929 in Cyril, OK to Arthur and Eilene (Black) Clark. She passed away February 24, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 88.
Colleen graduated from Cyril High School and went to work at the post office. She worked with her sister, Waldine, as a postal clerk until her sister retired. She took over as postmaster until she retired with 46 years of service. Colleen married Joseph Edward Sylvester, Sr. on June 17, 1951 in Cyril. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2003. She was a lifelong member of the Assembly of God and enjoyed being a part of the Ageless Encounters group at church. Colleen belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution. Saturdays were spent shopping. Her family gave her great joy, and she loved going to their activities and sporting events.
She is survived by:

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27th at 2:00 P.M. at the Assembly of God with Pastor Randy Cocheran officiating. Burial will follow in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.
