Denise Hurst Obituary
Lou Denise Hurst was born November 4, 1957, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Billy Gene and Dorothy Lou (Coffman) David. She passed away on August 28, at her home in Comanche. She was 62.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, August 30, at 10:00 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Morgan officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Denise attended schools in Massachusetts and Duncan. She married Clyde Dale Hurst on August 10, 1974, in Duncan. To this union, two children – April and Jousha – were born.
She enjoyed doing craft projects. She also enjoyed participating in political debates. Denise loved her Great Danes and Rat Terrier dog.
Denise is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dale; children: April and husband Danny Kyle of Oklahoma City and Jousha Hurst of Duncan; grandchildren: Ashton and wife Karla Dunegan, Hannah Beltz, Isabella Cobb, and twins, Jada and Piper Hurst; and mother, Dorothy Lou David.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene David; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Hurst; grandmother, Louise Hodgkins; brother, Alan David; and sister, Pat Naves.
