Dolores Ann (Martin) Meacham

Dolores Ann Meacham was born on October 20, 1936, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to William H. and Hazel I. (Moss) Martin. She passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at her home in Ninnekah. She was 82.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 1, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha with Pastor Kim Hayes officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Apache. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home in Apache.

Dolores was a 1954 graduate of Cushing High School. She married Royce Gene Meacham on October 24, 1964, in Cushing. She was employed as a key punch operator. In 1969, while enjoying life in Denver, their children - Marci and Mark - were born. Dolores and Royce were longtime members of the South Sheridan Baptist Church in Denver from 1969 to 1992.

She enjoyed gardening and reading books by Louis L'Amour. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Alaska, Hawaii, and touring the fall foliage in the northeastern United States. She was active in the Bible Baptist Church and loved her church family. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Royce; children, Marci and husband Bill Cline of Bridgeport, Texas, and Mark Meacham of North Richland Hills, Texas; four grandchildren: Caleb, Mason, Courtney and MaKayla Cline; sister, Coretta Wattenburger; nieces: Kym Thurman and Karla Smith; and nephews: Bill Wattenburger, Jon Wattenburger, and Brian Wattenburger.

Serving as pallbearers are Mason Cline, Caleb Cline, Russell Baker, Heath McDonald, J Pye, and Jefferson Craft. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Hill, Victor Palmer, DeLyon Nightingale, Wes Barrow, Ron Baker, Walt Pearcy, and Gene Akin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bible Baptist Church youth department.
