Don married Ruby Irine Sumpter on February 11, 1956 in Lawton, OK. Together, they owned and operated Howard's Cleaners in Cyril, OK and Jimmy's Cleaners in Chickasha, OK for over 25 years before they retired.
Don was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apache. He served as a Deacon at the Anadarko Pentecostal Holiness Church and then the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by:

Ernest Franklin Howard Lawton, OK
Roy Wayne Howard Greensburg, IN
Donald Linn and Deana Kay Howard Edmond, OK
Jerry Don Howard McKinney, TX
One daughter-
Shirley Ray and James Cline Waynesboro, VA
11 Grandchildren, 20 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great grandchildren

Funeral Services for Don Howard will be Saturday, March 14th at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Apache with Les Claborn officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the Direction of Crews Funeral Home.
