Henry Owens

Riley "Henry" Owens was born on March 22, 1945, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Riley Carwell and Dorothy Helen (Harned) Owens. He passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, in Duncan. He was 74.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 27, from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 28, at 10:00 A.M. at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Joe Case, Crestview Full Gospel Holiness Church, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Henry attended Duncan schools. He was self-employed as a handyman. He also worked at Gary Criswell's farm. Walking and gardening were a couple of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed watching movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Henry is survived by his brothers, Johnny and wife Linda Owens and V.L. and wife Charlotte Owens, of Duncan; his sisters, Nora and husband Kennard Brady of Duncan and Helen Smith of Waurika; and numerous cousins.
