J.C. Moss Obituary
James "J.C." Clinton Moss was born October 22, 1939, in Sugden, Oklahoma to James Norton and Denzil Mae (Kennedy) Moss. He passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019, with his loving family by his side. He was 80.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
J.C. graduated from Waurika public schools. He married Patricia Louise Minyard on August 26, 1960, in Byers, Texas. To this marriage six children - Jerry, Kelly, Tina, Pamela Jane, Stacy, and Brian - were born.
He loved to go fishing and hunting. Baseball was his favorite sport to watch. He loved his family very much and spoiled his grandchildren.
J.C. is survived by his children: Kelly and wife Brenda Lee Moss of Hastings, Tina and husband James Russel Newman of Odessa, Texas, Pamela Jane Moss of Duncan, Stacy Moss of St. Louis, Missouri, Brian and wife Rachel Moss of Serento, Illinois; grandchildren: Tiffany LeAnn Morrow, Ashley Nicole Elliott, Clinton Lee Moss, Jeremy Chance Bridges, Kaylee Cheyenne Newman, James Talmadge Moss, Andrew Moss, Brent Moss, Jessica Moss, Jordan Moss, Jacob Moss, Luna Moss; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Tony Moss of Duncan, Larry Moss of Sugden; and sisters, Patsy and husband Tommy Martindale of Meridian, Mary Poage of Iowa Park, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; son, Jerry Wayne Moss; parents; sister, Shirley Mae Frame; and infant brothers: Walter E. Moss, Eddie Dean Moss.
