James Orville “Rick” Barnett

Was born November 23, 1949 in Lovington, NM to James Amos and Mary Maud (Barr) Barnett. He passed away in his home October 6, 2012 at the age of 62.

Rick married Lydia Kay Traywick on March 24, 1973 in Wichita Falls, TX. He worked as a truck driver most of his life. He worked for Western Flyer Express until he retired due to health. He was a member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He dearly loved his grandkids.

His mother, Mary Barnett, of the home

He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Barnett

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 10th at 10:00 A.M. at the Celestial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Jim Barnett officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.
