Jerry Roberts Obituary
Jerry Dale Roberts was born November 30, 1942, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Bernard and Gladys Perilla Roberts. He passed away on January 21, 2020, at his home in Apache at the age of 77.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, at 2:00P.M. at the Apache First Baptist Church with Pastor Kerry Glasgow officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home.
Jerry was a 1960 Apache High School graduate. He married Sharon Marr on July 22, 1963, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was employed by Bob Lowe’s Inc. selling farm equipment parts. He restored and sold pickups. Driving dune buggies was his favorite pastime and then replaced the buggies with a RZR ATV. He also enjoyed fishing. He loved to watch his grandchildren and great grandchildren play ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert (Bob) Roberts; and grandson, Kenneth Boydstun III.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon; children: Jana Roberts and Ken Boydstun of Lawton, Tammie and Harold Head of Apache; grandchildren: Travis and Lyndsay Head of Apache, Baylee and Kane Lauminick of Claremore, Jared and Kaci Head of Apache, C.J. Boydstun and Bobby Gee of Elgin, Jaelyn and Micheal Lindsey of Ft. Worth, Texas, Raegan Head of Apache; great grandchildren: Adlynn McCracken, Charlee Lauminick, Ashtyn Lindsey, Jasper Head, Nixon Gee, Maddox Lindsey, Jacoby Head, Karson Head, Lilly Lauminick, Greyson Gee, Elleni Head, Zander Gee, Logan Lindsey; brother, Keith Roberts of Apache; and sisters: Lynda and B.C. Core of Elgin, Nancy and Bobby Gilmore of Jacksonville, Florida.
