Jimmy Wayne Creel went to be with his Lord on January 14, 2020. Jimmy was born September 21, 1943, to Henry Eulan Creel and Ruth Gentry Creel in Duncan, Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, at 11:00A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating, assisted by Larry Crow.
Jimmy attended schools at Bray, Marlow, and Duncan, graduating from Duncan in 1961. He proudly served in the US Air Force. After serving, he came home and worked for Halliburton Services for over 40 years. He worked in Duncan, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma City, Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Houston, Texas and Morristown, New Jersey, as well as overseas in Nigeria, Iran, and Dubai.
He loved hunting, fishing, and playing golf, as well as watching OU football and basketball. The real love of his life was his two daughters and his grandkids.
Jimmy is survived by his daughters: Delara and husband Brian Pollman, Marjon Stephens; grandchildren, Roya and Hunter Pollman; brother, Don and wife Bette Creel; sister, Linda Moore; aunt, Lois Creel; uncle, “Peachie” Anderson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eulan Creel; mother, Ruth Faye Creel-Pettus; and step-father, Walt Pettus.
