Lettie Faye Williams-Johnson was born November 3, 1933, in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Idella (Prince) and Elijah Williams. She was united in marriage to Sgt. James Harvey. To this union, one son, Robbie, was born. Later years, she united with J.C. Johnson. To this union, five children were born -- Jeffery Lynn, Carl Dewayne, Kent Bernard, John Craig and Tiffany LaLynn.
Lettie Faye was in one of the first classes that graduated from Douglass School in Duncan. She enrolled in college for a few years.
Lettie Faye worked in home care for many years. She enjoyed working with the Triple "D" club and playing bingo. Lettie Faye loved her family and friends.
Viewing will be Wednesday, December 18, from 9:00am-5:00pm at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 19, at 11:00am at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Boyd, pastor, officiating and Rev. Willie Irving, pastor St. Stephens Baptist Church, eulogist. Burial will follow at Henderson-Harris Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
She leaves to mourn 3 brothers: Tommy Williams, Sullivan Williams, Dave Williams; 3 sisters: Patricia Williams, Catherine Williams, and Ella Marie Williams; 3 children: Jeffery Lynn Johnson, Kent Bernard Johnson, Tiffany Taylor; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded by her parents; brother, Walker Williams; sister, Barbara Faye Williams; and sons: Robbie Harvey, Carl Johnson, Craig Johnson.
