Lois Maryllne Fough Kramer, 88, was born on May 30, 1931 in Plentywood, Montana, to Leon and Muriel Patswald Fough. Lois passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 1, 2019, in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Lois grew up on a rural farm west of Medicine Lake, Montana and then graduated from Plentywood High School. She then received an Associate’s degree from a Billings Business college in Spokane, Washington. She was employed as a teller and investment banker in the Denver area. She married Albert Carl Kramer on January 21, 1956, in Denver, Colorado. He preceded her in death in 2005. She moved to Oklahoma to be near her granddaughter Hannah where she cherished the time watching Hannah compete in equestrian events.
Her greatest joy was being with family, especially those in Montana, Florida, and California. Lois also loved to dance and draw in her sketch books. She was a member of the OHCE Sunshine Club of Stephens County and enjoyed working on numerous community projects, including the 2016 sewing program with families in Fiji.
A meet and greet with the family is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, at 2:00 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be scheduled for a later date in Montana. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Lois is survived by daughters: Lisa K Taylor, PhD, and husband Cary of Waurika, Cally Grauberger and husband Randy of Johnstown, Colorado and a granddaughter Hannah Taylor of Carson City, Nevada, step grandchildren: Bree Redding of Parker, Colorado, Toby Grauberger of DeSoto, Texas; step great grandchildren: Madison Redding, Zinnia Rose Grauberger; sister, Alice Cooney of San Marcos, California; and sister-in-law, Yayoi “Daisy” Fough.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; brothers: Sam Fough, Don Fough; and a special grandmother, Alice Fough, who lived to be 103 and was a very important person in Lois’s life growing up in Montana.
