Mary Eastin Obituary

Mary Jeanne Eastin was born April 21, 1933, in Wichita, Kansas to George Edgar and Pearl (Quillen) Wilson. She passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at the age of 86.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, at 1:00PM at the First Christian Church with Rev. Arnold Nelson officiating. Inurnment is scheduled for Monday, January 13, at 1:00PM at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, KS. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.

Mary was a 1951 Augusta High School graduate. She married the love of her life, Carroll W. Eastin, on June 6, 1952, in Augusta, KS. To this union, 4 children were born.

She was employed as a tax preparer for H&R Block. She loved to play bridge and also enjoyed playing tennis. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Her family was very important to her.

Mary is survived by her husband of 67 years, Carroll; children: Monti Lynne Eastin of Sherman, Texas, Michelle LeAnne and husband Tim Hunter of Duncan, Kevin Dean and wife Darlene Eastin of San Antonio, Texas, Eric Dane and wife Anita Eastin of Avondale, Pennsylvania; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and brother, Ed and wife Janice Wilson of El Dorado, Kansas.
