Obituary

Mildred "Millie" Delores Twyman, 85, was born July 3, 1934, in Newport News, Virginia to George and Mellie (Marrow) Jacobs. She passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at her home with her family by her side.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 1:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Elder Steve Oman officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery, under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Millie was employed as a janitor and worked in local businesses. She married Earl C. Twyman who preceded her in death. She loved being with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She also enjoyed the Christian ministry and had devoted her time for 3 years full-time.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Kenneth Batten; brothers: William Jacobs, Earl Jacobs, Floyd Jacobs, Albert Jacobs; and sisters, Elizabeth Jacobs, Tiny Jacobs.

Millie is survived by her children: Joyce and husband Lee Johnson, Tina Brunson, Teresa Dagraca Hill and husband Rodney Hill, Rodney and wife Angelique Twyman, Ronald Twyman; grandchildren, Sara Dagraca Prejean and husband Quentin Prejean, Isiac Dagraca, Hannah Brunson, Jeremy Brunson, America Batten, Kenneth Batten Jr.; and great grandchildren: Myles Prejean, Caden Prejean.
