Nancy Lynn Bartlett, of Sterling, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at the age of 70. She was born May 9, 1947, in Yreka, California, to Gerald Clement Fitzgerald and Shirley Ann (Walker) Fitzgerald.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 20, at 11:00 A.M. at the Voice of Truth Ministries Church in Lawton, officiated by Albert DeLeon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home, Duncan.
She attended schools in the Roseburg, Oregon public school system and attended business classes in Portland. She grew up in the Roseburg area and worked in the YMCA there.
On December 10, 1979, Nancy married Larry Allen Bartlett in Odessa, Texas. They raised five children, Alisha, Gerald, Eric, Amanda, and Frank. Frank William preceded his mother in death in 2006.
Nancy loved to read, especially the Grace Livingston Hill series books. She also faithfully read and studied her Bible. She enjoyed making arts and crafts, and watching muscle cars. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry; her children, Alisha and husband Gary Bruner, Gerald Jordan and fiancé, Marissa Glass-Morgan, Eric Bartlett, and Amanda Bartlett and fiancée, Michael Worthen; her grandchildren, Kristina Bishop, Brandon King, Kile King, Bryant Kempke, Natoni Jordan, Shiley Bartlett, Acean Bartlett, Jordan Ochab, Michael Worthen III, Aylynn Worthen, and Nicholas Jordan; nine great grandchildren; and her sister, Darla and husband Gene Grubbs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Fitzgerald; her son, Frank William Jordan; and her mother, Shirley Fitzgerald.
