Paul L. Stogsdill, formerly of Duncan, passed away on August 27, 2019, in Tulsa at the age of 75. He was born on June 9, 1944, in Duncan to Ewell Lee and Essie Ellen Stogsdill.
Visitation with the family is scheduled for Friday, August 30, 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 31, at 10:30 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Sid Bazzrea officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Stogsdill, Jerimie Alger, Tyler Fitzgerald, Tom Hurst, Gragg Pape and Steve Rich. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Paul graduated from Duncan High School. He was married to Wanda Stogsdill. He was employed by Koch Oil Industries as an electrician. He was a big sports fan and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. Fishing, traveling, tinkering on cars, watching "The Young and The Restless" on television, and working on the computer were just a few of his hobbies. He was a member of the Duncan Car Club. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his wife, Wanda; parents, Ewell and Essie Stogsdill; sister Patsy Whitley; grandson, Issac Wyatt; and great grandson Silas Fitzgerald.
Paul is survived by his children: Kristy and husband Jerimie Alger of Sand Springs, Dewayne and wife Kama Stogsdill of Wichita, KS; grandchildren: Logan Stogsdill, Clay Stogsdill, Nicholas Fitzgerald, Damian Fitzgerald, and Tyler Fitzgerald; great grandchildren: Isabelle Wyatt, Adele Wyatt, Josie Wyatt, Addison Wyatt, Trey Fitzgerald, Jaxyn Fitzgerald, Clara Fitzgerald, and Ronan Fitzgerald; and brothers: Dale Stogsdill, Harold Stogsdill.
