Robert Elliot Loflin passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on September 19, 2018, at his home in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was born to Adrian and Peggye Loflin in Clovis, New Mexico, on August 27, 1955.
Family visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 5:00-7:00p.m. at Whitt Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 28, at 10:00a.m. at Bethesda Church of God with Rev. Harold Metheny officiating. Committal service will be at 1:00p.m. at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Robert graduated from Muskogee High School in 1974. He then joined the U.S. Navy and served on the U.S.S. Anchorage. After an honorable discharge, he worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his father, Adrian Loflin.
Robert is survived by his mother, Peggye Loflin; daughter, Sara Beth and husband Jason Williams; grandsons, Alexander and Andrew Williams; brother, Steven and wife Angela Loflin; 3 nephews; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jason Steele, Jason Williams, Bradley Loflin, and Bill Perry.
