Roscoe "Pete" Autrey III was born on February 18, 1955, in Alameda County, California, to Roscoe Pete Autrey, Jr. and Arley Marie (Ussery) Autrey. He passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the age of 64.
A memorial service is scheduled for September 20 at 6:00 P.M. at Bethel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ron Meador officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Pete attended Duncan public schools. He was employed as a roustabout in the oilfied. He married Tammy Ann Barker on August 6, 1999, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
He enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. Pete preferred being in the outdoors and was always building bonfires. He loved visiting with his family and friends.
Pete is survived by his wife, Tammy; children: Shelby Brown of Edmond, Roscoe P. Autrey IV of Oklahoma City, Megan Marie Autrey of Duncan, Tara E'Lane Lemus of Temple, Caleana Marie Jones of Duncan; 12 grandchildren; and sisters: Martha Ballard, Mary Dorch, Margaret Rodden, Marquita Zideck, all of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Autrey.
