Rose Castillo Obituary

After 90 years of a long and fulfilling life, Rose Marie Castillo peacefully left this earth, surrounded by family on Saturday July 20, 2019. She was born on August 30, 1928, in Fletcher, OK to Felix & Louise Trevino. She married the love of her life, Ralph Joseph Castillo, on June 10, 1947. Her long life was filled with love and happiness by being surrounded by the family that she and Ralph created.

Rose lived most of her life in Cyril, OK. She was very devoted to the catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a long time member of the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Apache, OK. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and watching the OKC Thunder and Atlanta Braves. She also liked to attend Mexican dances. She was loved by all who had the distinct privilege of knowing her, and her light will continue to shine in the lives that she touched. She will live on in the memories of the people she knew as a beautiful and feisty woman.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph Castillo; 2 daughters, Margaret Billy, Christina Castillo; 1 son, Edmond Castillo; granddaughters, Rhianna Castillo and Sherrie Castillo; 1 great-granddaughter, Ysabella Manovsky; 4 sisters: Celia Badillo, Irene Nievez, Tomasa Maez, and Tomasita Trevino; and 3 brothers: Richard Trevino, Felix Jr. Trevino, and Bobby Trevino.

Rose is survived by 3 sons: Ralph Edward Castillo of Newalla, OK, Joe, and wife Antionette Castillo, of Oklahoma City, OK, and Nick Castillo of Marlow, OK; 2 daughters, Deloris, and husband Quentin Henley, of Tulsa, OK and Angela Castillo of Norman, OK; 11 grandchildren: Maria Long, Marisa Castillo, Tamara Manovsky, Christina Ratliff, Adrian Henley, Brian Henley, Stephen Billy, Jenny Castillo, Krista Castillo, Clark Hibbard, and Leigh Hibbard; 12 great-grandchildren: Zarick Long, Zackarie Long, Jesyka Long, Brentyn Grooms, Azriella Manovsky, Gabriella Manovsky, Bella Manovsky, Hunter Manovsky, Jameson Billy, Kailee Billy, Marques Smith, Cardell Smith, and Kameron Henley; 4 great-great grandchildren: Kimberee Long, Zekiel Long, Maren Long, and Beckham Long; 2 sisters, Mary Louise Watson and Ana Milligan; and 3 brothers: Martin Trevino, Benny Trevino, and Mike Trevino. Rose also leaves behind 3 sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Billie Long, Zarick Long, Zackarie Long, Brentyn Grooms, Adrian Henley and Brian Henley.

Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 24, at Crews Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Apache. Burial will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Arrangements are by Crews Funeral Home.
