Sam Morris Goldstein was born on May 31, 1929, in Los Angeles, California, to Jack Ralph and Ethel (Popel) Goldstein. He passed away on Saturday, August 25, at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Lawton at the age of 89.
A family memorial service will be held at a later time in Roswell, New Mexico. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Mr. Goldstein attended school in California. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He married Agnes Dolaghan in 1955 in Los Angeles. He was employed as an insurance salesman and retired in 1993. He enjoyed traveling and watching the San Francisco 49ers play football.
Survivors include his step-sons, Dr. Tom Eiser of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Dr. Robert Eiser of Roswell, New Mexico; grandchildren, Russell Eiser of Buffalo, New York, Sam Eiser of Norman, Oklahoma, and Thomas Eiser of Oregon; and great grandchildren, Colton Eiser, Val Odom, Lexie Odom, Nash Eiser, and Eileen Eiser.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ann Heider.
