Tracie Linn Sears, of Duncan, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, February 14, at the age of 48. She was born October 15, 1969, in Denver City, Texas. Her father is Jerry Isenburg and her mother is Linda (Crumb) Crawford.
Family visitation is scheduled for 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 18, at Whitt Funeral Home.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, February 19, at 2:00 P.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Blake Smith officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Tracie graduated from Roff High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from Cameron University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Oklahoma University. She married Scot Sears in 1991 in Sulphur, but divorced later. They had two children, Dallas and Sydney.
Tracie was a Child Welfare Supervisor for DHS, where she had worked for 21 years. She enjoyed traveling and scuba diving. She was constantly learning and strove to expand her knowledge. She was an animal lover. Tracie was a member of the Comanche First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth Stout and Charles Stout.
Tracie is survived by her children, Dallas Sears of Oklahoma City and Sydney Sears of Duncan; her mother and step-father, Linda and Glen Crawford; her father, Jerry Isenberg; her sister, Dana Britt; her sister-in-law, Stacy and husband Darrell Bowen; and her nieces and nephews, Caleb, Madison and Benjamin Britt, and Megan, Jade and Mason Bowen.
Honorary pallbearers are Mason Bowen, Caleb Britt, Benjamin Britt, Hunter Roberts, Stephen Garvin, Kealan Crawford, and Westen Crawford.
