Victor Arturo Galvan-Delgado was born September 9, 1974, in Durango, Mexico, to Abundio Galvan Montenegro and Trinidad Delgado Chacon. He passed away on Monday, December 17, at the age of 44.
A memorial service will be held at a future time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Victor graduated from Duncan High School in 1995. He married Lori Lea Bumpas on August 1, 2013, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. He was employed as a Snubber Supervisor, working in the oilfield. Victor was always on the go. He loved to grill and watch the Oakland Raiders. He enjoyed shopping with his wife and spending time with his children. He was always smiling and loved making other people laugh. He wanted to help people. He loved his job, but he loved his family more than anything.
Victor is survived by his wife, Lori; children, Santana and wife Sumer Newsom, Triston Newsom, Blayton Crosey, Victor Galvan Jr., Marco Galvan, Alivia Galvan, and Elaine Lowe; grandson, Tyler Mark Newsom; parents, Abundio Galvan Montenegro and Trinidad Delgado Chacon; sisters, Bertha B. Mejia, Norma I. Galvan, and Maria Adrianna Galvan; and brothers, Jesse A. Galvan, Juan Antonio Galvan, and Abundio Galvan Jr.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Aiden Galvan; brothers, Abundio Galvan and Victor Galvan; and sister, Irma Galvan.
