Allen Wade Street, of Duncan, was born December 15, 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma to Allen Crawford Eaves and Betty (Rice) Street. His mother later married Weldon Street who adopted Allen and helped raise him. Allen passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Oklahoma City. He was 69.
Visitation is planned for 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 28, at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 29, at Bethel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ron Meador officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Rick Lang, Joe Lang, David Woods Jr., Jimmy Phillips, Rick Coberly, and Johnathan Williams. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery.
Following the completion of his education, Allen began his working career in law enforcement. He served Stephens County as a Deputy Sheriff. He married Patricia McFarland on June 23, 1989 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Allen enjoyed fishing, woodworking, Harley motorcycles, and firearms. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved his church family and, most of all, he loved the Lord.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia; daughters: Megan and husband Randolph Barker of Comanche, Melanie Pool of Duncan; and grandchildren: Ella Barker, John Barker, Lila Pool. He is also survived by his sisters: Ann and husband Joe Jackson of Columbus, Texas, Nancy Greer of Texas; brother-in-law, Steve McFarland of Duncan; special brothers: Rick Lang of Duncan, Craig Chambers of Midland, Texas, all members of law enforcement agencies; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives; and innumerable friends. Preceding him in death were his father, Allen Eaves; his mother, Betty Street; father, Weldon Street; and brother-in-law, Rig Greer.
