Allyene Deree Wright Luna was born June 15, 1946 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Clarence "CC" and Jewel (Willeford) Wright. She went to be with her Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024. She passed peacefully surrounded by family in her home at the age of 78.

Allyene married Kenneth "Chick" Luna on September 24, 1965. To this marriage two children were born Shellie Ann and Kenneth Ray. She worked as a beautician from 1964 to 1984, she then went to work for Hollytex Carpet Mills from 1984 to 1995 as a Control Receiver. During this time, she also served as a member of the Cyril City Council and served as Mayor. In 1995, she was elected as Cyril City Treasurer and retired from that position in 2007. She then went to work for H&R Block where she worked from 2009 to present.

Allyene was an avid sports fan. From the time she was married until recently, she could be found at a softball field or gym rooting on her husband, kids or grand/great grandkids.

Allyene also loved card games and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Red Hats Society. She enjoyed her monthly outings with the ladies.

Allyene is survived by her daughter Shellie Ann Neal and husband Sam of Bray and son Kenneth Ray of the home. Grandchildren Steffen Morris and wife Erica, Seth Morris, Shamia McClelland and husband Wade, Cody Myers and Paige Luna. Great Grandchildren: Bre'dyn McPherson, Brody Morris, Siddalee Handke, Dixon McClelland, Memphis McClelland, Braylie Morris, Swayzee Morris, Baylen McClelland, Mallory Myers and Lucas Myers. Sister Carlene Wright Gibson, sister-in-law Donna Hanson and brother-in-law Frank Luna and multiple nieces and nephews.

Allyene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and an older sister Barbara Lamb, sister-in-law Karen Luna, and brother-in-Law Pop Gibson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Christian Church, Cyril with Hoby Williams officiating. Burial will follow the services at Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Viewing will be Saturday, September 28th at the Cyril Funeral Home from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday, September 29th from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Steffen Morris, Seth Morris, Cody Myers, Chris Hanson, Greg Hanson and William "Duker" Frederick. Honorary Pallbearers are Wade McClelland, Carl Lamb, Mike Lamb and Phil Gibson.
