Amie Lafaye Adams, 46, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1979, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Carter Lee and Judy Ann (Nease) Adams.
Amie grew up in Duncan and graduated from Duncan High School. With a heart for caring for others, Amie dedicated 15 years of her life working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Duncan Regional Hospital, where she formed lasting friendships and deeply cherished her coworkers.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She treasured every moment with her loved ones and especially delighted in time spent with her grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her days.
Preceded in death by her parents, Amie is survived by her children Tyler Lovato and Halie Lovato; grandchildren: Hazel Lovato and Creed Lovato; brothers: Russell Adams and wife Jana, Ricky Adams and wife Stacy; and sisters: Carol Bailey and husband Clifton, Toni Vanness and husband Elbert, and Mandy Beebe and husband Scott.
