Angela Joan Talley

Angela Joan Talley, of El Reno, Oklahoma, was born November 23, 1964, in Lawton, Oklahoma to James Aldrich and Betty Joan (Roberson) Harper. She passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Oklahoma City at the age of 58.

Funeral services will follow on Monday, May 22, at 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Church with Pastor Ron Meador officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Angela was a graduate of Central High School. She dedicated over 20 years of her life to making significant contributions in the cable industry. Angela started her career at Cable One as a Customer Service Representative and progressed to the position of National Sales Manager for Fiber Node Services; a career she was most proud of. Her hobbies included quilting, baking and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her father, James Aldrich Harper; Angela is survived by her significant other, Ricky Vaught, whom she had been with for 23 years; mother, Betty Jean Harper; children: Allyson Caldwell, Keanan Talley, Victoria and spouse Michael Barnes; and granddaughter, Madison Diane Barnes. She is also survived by two brothers, Jimmy and spouse Mary Ann Harper, Timothy and spouse Keri Harper; and sister, Amy Harper Brooks and spouse Tearnie Harper Brooks.

Serving as pallbearers are Mike Harper, John Harper, Zach Brink, Cameron Harper, Brock Harper, and Maverick Harper. Honorary pallbearers are Joel Tibbits and Brendon Stallons.
