Barbara Collins Obituary
Barbara Ann (Williams) Collins was born September 1, 1961 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Jimmy Dean and Della Jean Allensworth Williams. She passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Duncan Regional Hospital with her family at her side.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, at Whitt Funeral Home from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. No other services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Barbara was a 1979 Velma High School graduate. She had worked as a secretary for S&S Electric. Barbara married the love of her life, Jackie Louis Collins Jr., on August 25, 1990 in Velma, Oklahoma.
She loved to go to garage sales, collecting antiques, and looking for arrowheads. She hated to be hot. She loved fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Barbara is survived by her husband, Jackie; children: William Alan Waldroup of Fort Worth, TX, Kevin Lee Collins of Duncan, Emilee and husband Darrell Newton of Duncan; grandchildren: Piper LeeAnn Collins, Melodee Starr Schiemann, DeMari Dashaun Newton; sister, Cathy Dill of Madill; numerous other relatives; and friends.
