Betty Jo Bradley was born on July 11, 1937, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Lowell and Nova Lee (Tyson) Clark. She went to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at the age of 87.
A funeral service is planned for 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 26 at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.
Betty graduated from Velma High School. She married the love of her life, Lloyd Wayne Bradley on June 16, 1956. Together, they raised three children: Mindy, Lloyd Jr., and Faye. Betty worked for Halliburton Services for 35 years. In her free time, she enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, and "jeeping" in the mountains. Most of all, Betty loved to spend time with her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, George Newton.
Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lloyd; children: Mindy Newton, Lloyd Bradley Jr. and wife Teresa, Faye Thedford and husband Dean; 7 grandchildren: Caleb Hunt (Megan), Bradley Hunt (Allison), Crystal Powers (Jamey), Nick Black, Christopher Goodman (Jaimie), Olan Goodman (Elle), Brian Thedford (Katelyn); 18 great-grandchildren: Maddie hunt, Cora Hunt, Jay Hunt, Cayne Hunt, Dalice Hunt, Kaden Hunt, Sydney Ferguson (Joseph), Trent Hunt, Presley Hunt, Jamyson Powers, Isaac Powers, Bailey Powers, Gabriel Powers, Olivia Acosta, Sophia Acosta, Oliver Goodman, Elliot Goodman, Brinlee Thedford; and great-great-granddaughter, Pheebe Powers. Other survivors include her sister, Jeanie Graybill and numerous nieces and nephews.
