Beverly JoAnn Channel

Tecumseh resident Beverly JoAnn Channel was born on November 24, 1943 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Wilbur and Mary (Bratt) Butts. She passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the age of 79 in Shawnee, OK.

The family will greet visitors on Thursday, May 18, between 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home in Duncan. Funeral services are planned for Friday, May 19, at 10 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard "Snip" Allen and Rev. Don Jonker officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jacob Frank, Trevor Boise, Joshua Reich, Dakota Stephens, April Stephens, and Jason McMahan. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.

Beverly was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very active with her church, Tecumseh's First Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Roger Butts, Jerry Butts; and grandchildren: Kristin Reich and Jeremy Frank.

Beverly is survived by her children: Jodi McCullough and husband Jim of Duncan, Johnny Joe Reich and wife Cathy of Simi Valley, CA, Cherri (Frank) Whitley of Asher, OK; grandchildren: Jacob Frank, Brandi Frank and husband Jason McMahan, Sharea Frank, Trevor Boise, Kaylee Boise, Joshua Reich, April Stephens and Haylee Harris, Teresa Jantz, Carrie Reich, Todd Reich, Dakota Stephens; and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers: Richard Butts and wife Mitch, Fred Butts and wife Mary; numerous other relatives; many friends; and her buddy, Howie.
