Billie Shipley Obituary
Billie Darlene Shipley, 86, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was born June 9, 1939, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to Richard C. "Bill" and Lela Beatrice (Masden) Norman.
Billie graduated from Comanche High School in 1956 and proudly served in the Women's Army Corps. She later continued her education, earning an Associate's degree from Cameron University in 1981. In 1987, she married R.C. Shipley. During their years in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Billie devoted herself to caring for animals and served as director of the Humane Society.
She was a woman who embraced life fully-enjoying golf, ballroom dancing with her husband, and every moment spent with her family. Billie and R.C. returned to Duncan in 2016 to be close to loved ones and live out their days surrounded by family.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by her children: Mike Fiorillo and wife Jan, Anthony Fiorillo and wife Vickie, Kevin Shipley and wife Angela, and Matthew Shipley; her grandchildren: Tiffany Taylor Dillon and husband Zach, Dena Page and husband Aaron, Jana Marks and husband Adam, and Tony Fiorillo and wife Casedy; and her great-great-grandchildren: Indie Dillon, Foster Dillon, Sarah Shipley, Jackson Steberger, Jadyn Schilling, James Schilling, Jentry Seeberger, Maelyn Marks, Emma Marks, Zella Marks, Elliott Fiorillo, Rocco Fiorillo, and Luca Fiorillo. She is also survived by her sister, Diane Filliman of California.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
