Billy Tom "Bill" Nickerson Of Lakeside Addition, Elgin, OK
Was born February 26, 1931 in Apache, OK to Otho Lonnie and Theo (Goodwin) Nickerson. He passed away at his home on September 11th at the age of 83.
He married Dena Lynn Caudill on June 17, 1960 in Jacksboro, TX. He worked as an electrician for many years before going to work at Ft. Sill doing electrical work. He was a longtime member of the IBEW 1140 Electrical Workers Union.
Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a sports fan, and especially liked the Texas Rangers. He also enjoyed watching OU and OSU football. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, even having "tea" with his granddaughters.
He is survived by: His wife, Dena Nickerson, of the home
2 sons- Steven Nickerson Wichita, KS Michael and wife, Shannon Nickerson Wichita, KS
3 daughters- Patricia and husband, Jim Brownfield Fletcher, OK Rebecca and husband, Jake Jacobs Wichita, KS Jill Nickerson Tulsa, OK
10 grandchildren- Ryan Nickerson, Dara Nickerson, Sheila Brownfield, Hope Brownfield, Daniel Brownfield, Sarah and husband, Kyle Murray, Brent Christian, Shawn Christian, Juliette Nickerson, Ella Schaeffer
3 great-grandchildren- Mariah Nickerson, Maddie Nickerson, Steven Nickerson
His favorite sister-in-law- Darlene and husband, Olen Powers Berlin Heights, OH
Many nieces and nephews and cousins
He was preceded in death by: His parents 1 sister- June Ebisch 1 grandson- Allen Nickerson 1 granddaughter- Faith Brownfield 3 nephews- Jerry Buchanan, Eddie Joe Fleming, Blake Fleming
