Blane Edwin Gentry was born June 2, 1965 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Lloyd Harold and Reba L. (Mitchell) Gentry. He was tragically killed in an automobile accident on Monday, August 14, 2023, near Lawton. He was 58.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Blane graduated from Duncan High School followed by attending Red River Technology Center. He was employed as an upholsterer-carpenter. He loved to go fishing. Blane was a member of the Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Brant Gentry, Blane is survived by his aunt, Lynell and husband Glen Cordell; and several cousins.
