Bobby "Bob" Joe Hall

Bobby Hall, 89, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away, October 5, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.

A lifelong hard worker and cornerstone of the community, Bob spent most of his life running Ligon's Garden Center, where he took great pride in serving his neighbors and sharing his love of plants. When he wasn't tending to the greenhouse, you could find him in the garage, tinkering with old cars or swapping stories with friends in the car club.

He married the love of his life, Kay Gomersall, in 1963, and together they built a beautiful life. They raised two daughters in Duncan, where their family and roots continued to grow strong.

Bob will be remembered for his grit, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his passions.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kay; his daughter Adrenna Hall, son-in-law Anthony Giroir; his brother, Frank Hall; grandkids: Amanda and Taylor Adams, Ashley and Wade Harris, Heather and Alex Cline, Amy Lee, and Kayla and Chad Bailey; 16 great-grandkids; and countless friends who were lucky enough to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mary Hall; a daughter, Bobbie Giroir; and his sister, Irene Whitworth.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, October 8, from 5-7 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 9, at New Hope Baptist Church with Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Taylor Adams, Talyn Adams, Chad Bailey, Alex Cline, Wade Harris, and Marc Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Bob's memory by planting something green or taking a long drive in a classic car, just like he loved to do.
