Brent "Rowdy" Eugene Coleman was born August 15, 1963 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He passed away on September 8, 2021 at his home in Central High near Marlow at the age of 58.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, September 17, at 2:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Passmore officiating, assisted by Pastor Sam Buzzard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center of Duncan.
Rowdy graduated from high school at Central High. He had been a grader operator at the Stephens County Barn. He helped his parents operate Oscar’s Convenience Store in Central High. He was a retired Central High volunteer firefighter. Fishing was his passion and he would enter tournaments regularly, with intentions of becoming a professional fisherman. He participated in the Marlow gunslinger shows. He also enjoyed hunting and golfing. He loved his dog, Sally. Rowdy was a member of Central Baptist Church where he was baptized in 2007.
Preceded in death by his sister, Debra Brown, and his grandparents, Lillian and JK Jones; Rowdy is survived by his parents, Melba and Oscar Esparza; two sisters: Brenda Esparza of Lawton and Teah and Curtis Morrison of Duncan; many aunts, uncles, great nephews, and cousins; nieces and nephews: Shanika and Seth Lovett, Ashley and Tim Kendrick, and Justin and Sabrina Young; very special furbaby, Sally Sue; and best bud, nephew and fishing partner, Brayden Falconer.
