Brian Charles Horning Obituary
Brian Charles Horning, of Marlow, Oklahoma, was born on September 18, 1973 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Charles Frank and Lou Ada (Green) Horning. He completed his earthly journey on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Oklahoma City at the age of 51.
He graduated from Marlow High School with the Class of 1992. He had been employed as a welder at Halliburton for approximately 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. His favorite enjoyment was spending time with his children, having them work with him in the shops. He was known as the King of Southern Engineering. He loved his children. His grandson, Dean, was his pride and joy; Dean called him PowPow.
Left to cherish their memories of Brian are his parents; children: Valarie and Kelsie Patterson, Michael Horning, Nora Horning, Frankie Horning, Harley Horning; and grandson, Dean Jones. He is also survived by his sisters: Karla Osborne and Laura Horning; nephews: Justin and Kassie Horning, Nicholas Sikes, Nathan Hobbs; niece, Faith Condit; great nephews: Derek Johnson, Liam Hall, Kasin Horning; great niece: Bryanna Whan; aunts and uncle: David and Renita Green, Sue Horning.
A celebration of Brian's life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
