Buddy Haney Obituary

Buddy Joe Haney was born in San Bernardino, California on August 24, 1945 to Floyd and Mollie (Mann) Haney. He passed away surrounded by his family on December 30, 2021 at his home in Duncan at the age of 76.

No services are scheduled at this time. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan.

Buddy attended Duncan High School. He married Nina Bumpas in California on June 4, 1970. They were married for 23 years before Nina's passing in 1993. Buddy later married Bonnie Arlene Fisher on August 21, 2010 in Duncan. They were married for 11 years before his passing. Buddy worked many years as a truck driver for Bell Trucking. He enjoyed working on cars as well as just being a mechanic and could always be found working on something. Buddy was a man that like to debate anyone and had mastered the trade. He liked to go to Flea Markets but hated going into store, making him be a very thrifty man. Buddy enjoyed fishing and going to the lakes. He was an Old Timer. Buddy will be greatly missed by everyone that he was dear too.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Bonnie Haney of the home, five children: Jimmy Bumpas and wife Kimberly of Duncan; Tina Trumble and husband Jerry of Duncan; Sissy Patterson and husband Levi of Marlow; Allen Shearin of Adair; Leighan Logan of Lawton; his dog that was just like one of his children, Joe Dandy the Yorkie; seven grandchildren: Thomas Haney and wife Brittni; Ryan Trumble and wife Shyann; Shelby Trumble; Chance Trumble; Brandon Bumpas; Brooke Myrick; Little Levi Patterson; two great-grandchildren: Ryder Trumble; Serenity Haney; and a sister, Kathy Underwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Nina Haney, granddaughter, Daylee Jo Lacy Patterson, brother, Lee Haney, and two sisters: Jeannine Edna Richardson, Cheryl Battiest.
