Carol Nelson Obituary
Carol Alyene Nelson was born on November 29, 1943 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Gladys Alyene Lawson and Ezekiel "Zeke" Lawson. She passed away on November 21, 2021 and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was 77.
In her earlier years she enjoyed gardening and playing golf.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother and father; and husband, James "Jim" Nelson.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Hughley and husband DeAngelo of Duncan; four grandchildren: Hunter Kirkpatrick and wife Jenna of Walters; Landon Curtis of Atlanta, GA; Tanner Curtis of Comanche; Carson Hoodenpyle of Duncan; and two brothers: Lennis Lawson and wife Mary Jo; Tommy Lawson and wife Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Nelson; and two brothers.
No services are scheduled. All arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan.
