After the passing of her first husband, Mark, in December 2003, Cheryl continued her life in Edmond, where she was working as a nurse when she met Terry Morris. They were married in November 2007. Together, they built their dream home between Duncan and Velma, Oklahoma, where they spent many happy years enjoying the outdoors and watching deer from their porch.
Cheryl had many passions, including working outdoors, playing tennis, supporting her family, and cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Morris; her children, Chad Jones (wife Hillary) of Piedmont, Briane McClain (husband Brent) of Edmond, Jason Morris (wife Michelle) of Edmond, Jimmy Morris (wife Mary) of Edmond, and Jill Henslee (husband Chad) of Edmond; six grandchildren: Hayden Jones, Wyatt McClain, Jessica Hamm, Jase Morris, Noah Henslee, and Jacob Morris; as well as several great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother, Richard Chadwick and his wife Sharon Chadwick; her sister, Karen Hays and her husband David Hays; her nephew, Thomas Hays and his wife Jordan and their daughters, Natalie and Ruby; and her niece, Marti Cook and her husband Hunter Cook and their daughter Holly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Norma Chadwick; her first husband, Mark Jones; and her niece, Alesha Henley among other family members.
Cheryl will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her caring nature as a nurse, her kindness to everyone she met, her sense of humor, and the joy she found in the simple moments of life.
