Chet graduated from Empire High School in 1974, where he made many lifelong friendships. Chet married the love of his life, Kim Riddles, on July 2, 2001.

Chet, a registered and proud member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, was a man of many hobbies. He was a member of the Duncan Gun Club, a Grand Mason, and served 20 years as a volunteer fireman for the Empire area. He was a self-proclaimed parrot head and lake rat. Chet was happiest on the boat at Lake Eufaula where the family owned a lake house. He owned and operated Wright’s Donuts in Duncan for 30 years.
