Claudette Hoatson was born September 19, 1934 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Claude L. and Zeda Mae Hoatson. She passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 86.

Claudette graduated from Duncan High School and then attended cosmetology school where she received her license. She went on to teach at the school for two years after which she opened her own shop, Claudette Professional Hair Artistry. She loved to paint with oils. When she was younger, she enjoyed traveling. Claudette enjoyed spending time with her friends. She also loved her dog, Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Coleman; and sister, Zeda Ruth Banion.
Claudette is survived by her sister, Myra Owens; nephew, Ted Owens; niece, Katy Odgers; and special friends, Lloyd and Anita Olson.
