Clifford Carlous Jones, of Apache, Oklahoma, was born January 30, 1927, in Frances, Oklahoma to Cary Monroe and Martha Elizabeth Jones. He passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020, in Lawton. He was 93.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21, at 1:00 P.M. in the Crews Funeral Home Chapel with Les Claborn officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Clifford attend schools in Sasakwa. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was honorably discharged in January, 1947. Clifford was employed as a guard but also worked in the farming and oil industries. He loved to go fishing and coon hunting. He also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the 32nd Masonic Lodge and also of the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Apache.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Lorene Jones, Norma Jones, Marie Jones; son, Tom; brothers: Woodrow, Cary Jr., Winfield, William, Harold, Audie, Vester; and sisters: Ora, Earl, Marie, Wanda, Betty Jean.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Louise Rice Jones; children: Kathleen, Pat, Ellen, Kathy, Jerry, Randy, Carl, Mike, Shannon, Maggie; grandchildren: Randy, Phil, Katrina, Justin, Emilee, Anna, Jill, Brandon, Brandy, Carlous, Catherine, Meagan, Christopher, Cliff, Shawn, Andy, Heather, Sebastian, Trina, Steven, Kyle, Kaddie, Hannah, Hayley, Johnny, Amy Courtney; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
