Colette Elizabeth Cox was born on December 8, 1960, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to John Henry and Evelyn (Fehring) Jacobi. She went to her heavenly home, surrounded by her beloved family, on Monday, March 23, 2026, at the age of 65.

Colette grew up alongside her brother and sister, whom she loved to tease but fiercely protected. She graduated from Empire High School in 1979 and went on to build a long and dedicated career in the accounting offices of Shepherd & Shepherd, where she worked faithfully for 35 years.

She had a joyful spirit and loved dancing, shopping, and collecting turtles and eagles. More than anything, she cherished time spent with her family-especially her nephews and nieces, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

For 16 years, she shared her life with her fiancé, Bruce Loud. She embraced his children, Lisa and Jeremy, as her own, and she was affectionately known as "Nana" to their four children, who adored her.

Above all, Colette was a devout Christian whose faith guided every part of her life. She loved Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and lived out that love with kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion.

Preceded in death by her father, John Henry Jacobi, Colette is survived by her mother, Evelyn Jacobi; fiancé, Bruce Loud; children: Lisa Hudson and husband Michael, Jeremy Loud; grandchildren: Jerad Hudson, Nathan Hudson (Mattie), Bryce Hudson (Kathy), Derek Loud (Emily); brother, Harvey Jacobi (Aida Simms); sister, Rita Blaschke (Keith); nieces and nephews: Sarah Owsik (Andrew), Alicia Sisti (Nick), John Blaschke (Erin), Kenneth Blaschke (Madeline), Robert Blaschke; and 16 great nieces and nephews.

A wake is planned for 5:00 P.M., Thursday, March 26, in the chapel at Whitt Funeral Home with a rosary service beginning at 6:00 P.M. Funeral services are planned for 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 27, at Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Oby Zunmas officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Kenneth Blaschke, John Blaschke, Jerad Hudson, Nathan Hudson, Bryce Hudson, and Derek Loud serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Robert Blaschke.
