Constance "Connie" Cammella Mosley was born on December 27, 1925, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Reuben and Pauline (Myers) Cochran. She passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Duncan, Oklahoma on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the age of 98.
Family visitation will take place from 5:30-7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 18, at Whitt Funeral Home. A funeral is planned for Friday, April 19, at 2:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Gavin Lindsey, Kreed Lindsey, Landon Bandy, Eric Brogdon, David Johnson III, and James Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Dick Greenwood, David Johnson Jr., Brandon Lindsey, and Derik Blaisiak.
Connie graduated from Duncan High School and went on to attend the University of Oklahoma. She married Weldon V. Mosley on April 1, 1944 and together they raised their 3 children: Marsha, Melanie, and Jim. Connie worked as a director at Universal Fidelity. In her spare time, she loved music, dancing, sewing clothes, and out-fishing her husband. She was a professional artist and loved to oil paint. She was a member of the PEO Kelita Club and First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children: Marsha Johnson and husband David of Duncan, Melanie Thomas of Lawton; grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson Lindsey and husband Brandon, Alyssa Blaisiak and husband Derik, David Johnson III and wife Brandi, Heather Bandy and husband Shannon, James "Jay" Johnson and wife Julia, Tom Mosley; great-grandchildren: Eric Brogdon, Landon Bandy, Kyndle Lindsey, Gavin Lindsey, Kreed Lindsey, Braydon Blaisiak, Bre Blaisiak, Brooklyn Johnson, Knox Johnson, Reed Johnson, and Georgia Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Weldon V. Mosley; her son, Jim Mosley; great-grandchild, Samara Johnson, and her parents, Reuben and Pauline Cochran.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Connie's name to First Baptist Church, 901 W Ash Ave., Duncan, Oklahoma 73533.
