He earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Phillips University. He earned his Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD) from the University of Oklahoma in 1995. In 1983, he married the love of his life, Lisa Ann Goodpasture. They built a very loving life together and served the Duncan community in the healthcare field for 20 plus years. Craig served as an Emergency Room Physician and was passionate in his role to serve others in their time of sickness and need. The greatest love of his life was Jesus. He also loved his family immensely. Craig embraced his role as grandpa, aka “Poppy”. He loved his children and grandchildren and spent his life as a role model and mentor to his family, friends, and coworkers.
His relationship with Jesus was the pivotal essence of Craig’s life. He was proud and honored to be the patriarch, father and grandfather to his family. He has been a major presence in the lives of his children and grandchildren.
He had a long-standing relationship with God and loved to share his faith with others.
Craig will be forever remembered for his contagious smile and laugh, gentle eyes, huge caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven having heard the words well done thy good and faithful servant.
Honoring his selflessness, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation through the organization LIFE SHARE.
