Cynthia Dismuke Obituary
Cynthia Ann Dismuke was born to Roy and Phyllis Dismuke on March 14, 1967 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, with her family at her side.
Cindy was baptized into the church of Christ. She was an avid reader of the Bible. Cindy loved sketching and journaling. She spent many hours writing poetry and stories.
Cindy graduated from Duncan High School in 1985. She also attended Cameron University. Cindy loved the outdoors, gardening and taking care of the swimming pool. Her dog, April, was the light of her life. She had an intense love for animals, especially dogs.
Cindy loved playing basketball, snow skiing, swimming in the ocean and riding in helicopters. She loved her niece, Kaitlin, and nephews Dylan, Dalton and Christian.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Roy Dismuke, and brother, Ricky Dismuke. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve and Willie Branch and C.W. and Thelma Dismuke. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Dismuke of Duncan; sister, Brenda Franklin and husband Jim Franklin of Edmond; nephews, Dylan Dismuke and wife Emily of Duncan, Dalton Dismuke of Cache, and Christian Franklin of Moore; niece, Kaitlin Allen and husband Mitchel of Edmond; and great nephews, Matthew Dismuke and Ford Allen. Other survivors include many friends, especially Ginger Brockman.
We want to give a special thanks to Chisholm Trail Hospice for their care and compassion. We also want to thank Ginger Brockman for all of the care she gave during this time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Chisholm Trail Hospice.
