David Albert Myers, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at his home in Apache, Oklahoma. He was born December 24, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Adolph Frederick and Daisy Lela (Williams) Myers.
David graduated from US Grant High School in Oklahoma City. He was a US military veteran having served in the Navy. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cameron University. He was employed as a Computer Software Engineer for 23 years before retiring in 2013. He married Juanita Anderson on November 6, 1981. Their family was completed with the births of their three children - Matthew, Andrew and Jennifer.
David had numerous hobbies including woodworking, stamp collecting, gardening, making clocks and furniture. He enjoyed cheering on the OKC Thunder. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister, David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Juanita; children: Matthew Myers of Brisbane, Australia, Andrew and wife Leah Myers of Tuttle, OK, and Jennifer and husband Jeremy Harris of Mustang, OK; and grandchildren: Lenora Myers, Silas Myers, and Estella Myers. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Bonnie Myers of Del City, OK.
A private family service will be held March 22, 2025. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home.
